RETINA
mirror stained
like pewter dull
cornea filled with time
the fine dust
of years
come to settle
china in the hutch
the world reflected upside
down
all the years unfurled
some curling at their edge
the many suns
the many moons
and tears of smiles
glimmer in searching
not for whats right there
but in whats in here
what I see
