one-legged, smoke-blue

sunrise over Lake Isaac
a heron ponders the question
of stillness, one-legged, smoke-blue

~~~~~
the dragon fly attempts
what no man can do,
to lace the black-holed sun into
gossamer wings
~~~~~

we awaken in each other's
dreams, words come and words go,
we forget to write them down,
we write poems from long-legged memories

~~~~~
you should be jealous of Charles B.
you should know I am a flesh eater
I am hungry and I will ravage you with desire,
I will steal all that is yours
~~~~~

the world drifts on an ocean breeze
tender mercy
translucent, temporal, transcendent

~~~~
sighs of my life
float above me like waves
without patterns
Ooooh...
The bell tolled sweetly singing, come!- new- born thoughts by nightly highs; voracious- Venus dreams when lovers sigh I LIKE this one Anna! thank you for posting. " And always was this whisper in the stillness- A murmur without sorrow's whimper nor cry of heart bereft- here was heard the heart that lovers left..." ~Toller~
I liked this Sunday morning poem like a song to me and this part really food or water for thoughts here... we awaken in each other’s dreams, words come and words go, we forget to write them down, we write poems from long-legged memories ~~~~~ Nice write here and how do you get the wavy lines in between the verses. I like the format you use. Peace in love Mona TIME well spent is TIME well lived
Leaves me with a marvelous feeling
as all your poems do, dearest Anna Kailashana. "A poem well writ is a poem that sits" and your poems sit within me, in all honesty, throughout the day. Love always, Jhena Mariposa
