Moronic Jester

I am educated enough to know my A B Cs
but when the opposite sex arrives
I am a gibbering idiot
I’m love's moronic jester

I am a fully grown adult
I have control of my life
I feed my pets
I am responsible

But when the opposite sex arrives
I’m a bandy legged
knock kneed fool
there’s even a little drool

I drive a car
I have a job
I attend an evening school
mature through and through

But when the opposite sex arrives
I fail, I flunk,
I’m love's moronic jester
