the sleep of Lovers

I watched you sleep
last night
a Moon-God
breathing

a storm came,
you awakened--
smiled the smile
of shattered marble skies
embracing me with cornflower eyes

lovers, we bring rainbows
and light candles in each other's dreams,
the scent of Lobelia
pressed
into a page.

ah yes, ah yes,

to gaze upon the loved sleeping... and to poetically bring us to the dying fall... I am transformed love, Jess, Reprehensibly irrepressible, "the alleged short-cut to knowledge, which is faith, is only a short-circuit destroying the mind." [Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged]

My little pressed lobelia.

Ann of Norway Dearest Anna, Anna with the sweet sensitive visions crystallised into expressions of poetry, we see, we feel, we sense the perfume of your little moment pressed into the page this we open and we see lying there the tiny blue flower of a petal from your plethora of magic poetry there fixed in our memory forever. Love to you and your love, Ann.

Last stanza

Those last words of this poem ...ahh something you should be proud of. It's early in the morning but I know good poetry when I see or read it! You and Seren are my favs. I'm sorry but you really pack a punch with a few lines, that is where you want to go. It kinda like my stuff, what I try to achieve. You are no longer a student of poetry.
