Life and Death

I stand on the verge of life and death
I have looked over the edge
And I have wings
They cannot hurt me
Or bring me down

I have danced with the devil
In the dark of the night
In the places in my soul
Where you wake up screaming
From the things you fear the most

And I kicked his ass

He stood on my throat
Choked me
Until I realized
He can only win
If I let him defeat my mind

He may grind my bones
To make his bread
But I’ll be damned
If I ever let him back
In my head

Some kind of mood that head is in tonight? Loved this one and it is true you can not let anyone live rent free in your head, less they have to start paying some rent up in there. LOL Serious write but love it just the same Love,Mona xoxox TIME well spent is TIME well lived
