Commitment
Safe in armsThat embraced two pastsTwo roads in lifeTheir different routesCollided with comet speed With lighting strikeLove poured outMerged and bondedWith all that they touched Verdant green in the winter’s snowTheir love grewIt was beautiful to watch the unfoldingAs walls tumbled and gates openedOn fallow feelings deep in both Today a joyful marriageOf united hopeFrom green sliversTo ripening golden barleyThat dances in the fieldOf their new lifeTo the tune of Meatloaf.
