when I thought all was lost

and prompted renewal of trust.

I was resigned to forever reside in the dark

but you pulled the curtain

and revealed the sun still shines.




My muses burst with innovation

for a new joy I’d found in living.

The window had finally opened

since the door closed.

because of you I understand
