POLITICAL CLAW

Manipulating need intoxicating
greed by an elected dictatorship
.
Wasting toil the fruits of all our spoil.
Distilled truths told by those in suits.

An ever present minority up in arms
against authority, non acceptance of
severed fate retaliate with blinkered hate.

Elevated status where everything is free
gratis, for and on behalf of the masses.

Tame me now with expression before
the next general election.

Years ago, 2007, I spent some time in Dublin Heaven Amusing to me as it is true The "terrorists" run countries, too! So good and bad is relative Once you drink a case of Guiness... Much love

Well, I’ve stayed in

Well, I've stayed in Ireland a little bit (Sallins, in the suburbs of Dublin) back in 2007... What struck me is going to downtown Dublin and seeing the Sinn Fein offices and the general beauty of the place; because years ago, Sinn Fein and the IRA were considered by some to be on par with Al-Qaida or the Symbionese Liberation Army (I read quite a bit of history). Yet it seemed to me that once they got a chance, they were fully capable of administrating a country (southern Ireland).So the "terrorists" are now the tax collectors. Happens all the time lol. The people who founded the United States were once branded outlaws and rebels also. But yes, oftentimes it's like Animal Farm: the pigs and the masters are indistinguishable. And on the subject of Guiness: it was I doing the drinking lol. Cheers.

HI I am not getting into a political debate some of what you say is true but if you know your history you will also know that CROMWELL slaughterd maybe millions of my fellow countrymen and were ran into the ground for over 800 years by the british but most of us HERE in ireland have left that in the history pages where it belongs cheers end of story ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,zigs

Exactly. I love Ireland. Cromwell is infamous for his "pacification"... there was a good reason for the Irish to say, "We're not gonna take it anymore!". Anyways, take care.
