Love this poem...

Hello. This poem is effective as I can hear the droning on of the preacher without hearing his words because I, like you, am not listening, but am lost in my own imaginings. I wonder if you meant stogy or stogie: a cheap cigar, which is a great parallel to the recycled feminine wreath. Thanks, Lisa

Thank you,

I was attentive to the environment, and I was afraid I would lose the theme. I did intend Stogie/stogy when I get PC access I will edit. In ink, Dabbler

good write

the apathy shines through (shines? apathy? - you know what i mean i hope.) especially love the first 3 and the last 3 lines - they round the poem off and could almost stand on their own. love judy xxx http://www.strategicpublishinggroup.com/title/TwentyMyPrettyPonies.html
