M Mom the first word I spoke
O Only your open arms and hugs evermore
T Tender compassion all the times you've been there
H Happiness and love you give us
E Everything you did for us in all your days
R Raising us up so well as you did

Happy Mother's Day to you
everyday is a Mother's Day to me
not just this one day set to honor Mother's
this is for all the days and nights you've shared
always caring, never withdrawing
your love, your inspiration, your compassion
a truly caring, beautiful, God bless you Mother
one you can never compare to another
I honor you more today then yesterday
as the years go forth I am ever so thankful
for having you to love and hold
You're so brave and bold, still to this day

This speaks of you Mother, never unwavering
always there to guide and teach
from childhood days through adult ways
No other can compare the love of
You, my loving Mother
For there is no other
Thank God for a woman who has
meant more to me than words of a poem
a card on a shelf
We share the love forever till God calls you home
and even then I shall never be alone
As I am a part of you and you a part of me
You, my Mother, no departure will there ever be
