The Play
Such vacant eyes
so full of need,
asphalt-cemented soles that bleed;
hardened hearts
with such fragile souls,
the pedestrian-like gravity sure takes it's tolls.
Despondent dreams
glued-on weather burns,
it's true, a dead man never learns;
vampired aspirations
each recycled day,
the vagabond drama, begins to start the play.
so full of need,
asphalt-cemented soles that bleed;
hardened hearts
with such fragile souls,
the pedestrian-like gravity sure takes it's tolls.
Despondent dreams
glued-on weather burns,
it's true, a dead man never learns;
vampired aspirations
each recycled day,
the vagabond drama, begins to start the play.
