The Play

Such vacant eyes
so full of need,

asphalt-cemented soles that bleed;

hardened hearts
with such fragile souls,

the pedestrian-like gravity sure takes it's tolls.

Despondent dreams
glued-on weather burns,

it's true, a dead man never learns;

vampired aspirations
each recycled day,

the vagabond drama, begins to start the play.

So Sad....is this write...

The streets are the haven...not that they desire...but all they have. The reality of this write hurts to imagine that we could be in this same play...curtain call and all... Excellent discription Doc Antoinette Mari
