In the spring-time of our care

 I'll see you at another time
in dreams you'll be my friend
the latter part of time comes quick
bringing slowly with it end

I know we'll meet again in life
till then keep holding on
to loving thoughts I send to you
through these days that seem so long

our time will join these lives we live
in these future years that call
I'll wait for  these to come with hope
for these words you'll  give your all

we shared our lives then parted
too young we were to know
these seeds of fruit we gathered
would be scattered as the snow

but  a faithful understanding
brings us closer making fair
these reasons we had parted
and again why we will share

to spread this love we two had held
in the spring-time of our care

Dear John

Beautiful

I really enjoyed reading this John...brought tears to my eyes. It's hard to accept losing a loved one, but if we can keep it in our hearts that we'll be together again one day it helps us to get through it. Rosina xena465

that's a wonderful thing though... if you think about it. thats half my battle on this site and its interpretation, thats why its hard to change things on paper that have been written for a reason not everyone will find and as in this situation we have three interpretations MINE YOURS AND XENA'S and there may be many more, thats the fun for me... ok I'll stop. No battle of words here

But in this world oh my sure is true. You will see you comment on many poems here and then the ones that never visit your reads want to give you any feedback or crit unless it is something they know and only tell when the time is ripe.. Interesting to say the least. I have learned alot and words are just that some make beautiful poetry and some are just down right stupid!! If you know what I mean, I do not hold a grudge but I sure know one when I see one. Maybe a better word would be a sludge..LOL just having fun on your page here,,no offense to anyone as some are most sensitive then others in words. Love your poems and see your progressing nicely here Manti. Bravo to you TIME well spent is TIME well lived
