WHERE OH WHERE YOU BRILLIANT MOON

Where oh where you brilliant moon
Did a dish really run away with the spoon
What did that mean
In an old fairy tale scene 

Cows jump over the moon
A dish runs away with the spoon
What sense did that make
A fairy tale scene so fake

How could a cow jump over the moon
and a dish run away with the spoon
A fairy tale story mom and dad once told
memoirs of a nursery rhythm, young days of old

I gaze upon the brilliance of the moon
I don't see a witch flying a broom
What did that mean
In an old fairy tale scene

Where is the dish running with the spoon
Where is the cow jumping over the moon
Where is the witch flying around with a broom
Where oh where you brilliant moon

Just had to laugh at myself

With this one, I don't know why in earth it struck me tonight about the old fairy tale and the moon...Hope you find it fun.. Mona TIME well spent is TIME well lived

Yes that is true and just a fairytale indeed. Just like many of the fairy tales we loved to hear and read to our children, Just makes one wonder what was one thinking about when they wrote it many many moons ago. For the visit and yes a twist of tales it is. It was not meant to be cynical by no means but like I just said to Xena you ever wonder what was in the minds of the writer back in the day. All in fun. And choice of words how they can be misconstrued with their interpretations different views, just like the poetry that is done in this day and age. How are you doing and the kids? Summer is approaching allready and it's time for the pool. You know last nite I had a dream of reading fairy tales to my nephew. My son and the kids always gathered around me with for storytime as I did recite them with a twit. Great comment and I thank you for the visit again. Love Mona xoxo TIME well spent is TIME well lived

I never heard that one before but I guess there is a first for everything under the sun. I loved the school nursery rhymes and why I was thinking about the cow jumping over the moon at the age of 53 you got me, Probably when I was young I really thougth the cow did jump over the moon, and the dish did run away with the spoon as it is all a fairy fictional tale, that is all.
