In your name; not Gods, are you forgiven

I was distraught
as the eyes of grace
fell from you,
and when the fear
and insecurity
of self loathing
reigned supreme

it was then
I knew,
we were in trouble

curtains were pulled
as your eyes downcast,
the outcast in you
plays over and over
in the same scene,
as your crimes
against god,
torment your
everlasting spirit
(you say)

I say, you are human
I say, you are beautiful
and I also say,
if your god
cant forgive you?
he can go get fucked

I forgave you before
you ever asked for it,
this madness will cease
one day? you will see
how gorgeous you are

and forgive yourself

Big hugs to you so glad you liked this one, I have a friend and she was having a few issues I wrote this for her and she loves it lol said I couldnt possibly post it with that line, I said watch me ... its not meant to be offensive to any religion but for someone with mental illness and we are talking quite profound the religious torment for her is quite severe and the line between faith and delusion can blur as I know only too well love and big hugs JayCee x x x ("Quote:-For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it. very strong

forgiving ourselves can be a very hard thing to do. espically if others have been putting it in our ears that we are worthless and don't deserve to be forgive, I have a very beautiful friend who has been put down my her husband so long that she doesn't think she is beautiful anymore, that is a sin

How very right you are forgiving myself(I found) was the hardest thing I ever did ... I can forgive a world but not myself .. I hope that your friend finds her way I was in a similar situation when I was married ... I got out and have never looked back ... I wish her strength to see that shes as beautiful as the day is long ... we all are ... we just dont see it and funny you mention sin ... Rosina in my experience I found that with clarity of being well people often forgive themselves or at least find a gentle acceptance of things ... I would hope that with the greater knowledge of mental illness and more awareness that the stigmatism will one day fall from the eyes of those that dont see that mental illness isnt something people choose, its a disease that can be treated and so many people move on to better lives with proper treatment and live full lives love and big hugs JayCee x x x ("Quote:-For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it. I agree totally

We don't choose it, but there are still people that don't believe in some mental illnesses, like mine. As you know I've attempted suicide on many occasions and have sought professional help and got better, but it can creep up on you again and again, and this is what some people don't understand with my illness. No one in their right mind tries to kill themselves over & over again. And it's not attention seeking in my case. There have been times when no one knew I'd done it and I've woken up days later, being unconscious the whole time, as I hadn't called for help. Fortunately, it’s not a frequent occurrence and I manage to overcome my fear of the future most of the time. I do try, but when you’re lost in yourself and there’s no one you want in your life it can get lonely and eat at you until it weakens your existence to a point of no return. But I do keep returning so I’m not meant to die…not yet anyway! Rosina xena465

for me there are signs I guess you could call them, things that I do only when I start to get unwell when I notice them I do something about it ... I choose to be well, I might not always be able to stay that way? but in my case prevention has been as close to a cure as I have gotten and I am accepting of that, we all have limitations I have to learn to work around mine, even when you are in a room full of people you can feel alone, some of the most lonely I have ever felt was surrounded by others ...
