Amity

Terrorism haunts the world, stop it,
Love need not be learnt. Practise it.

Man- women amity.  Christian-Muslim-Hindu
Innumerable religions stand together.
A great day of peace and love.

Hey, cajole the black sky, hyetal season should come.
Not the diluvium of ignorance.  Change into the blond.

Black but bleary garb covered.  Liberation of the black is rife.
The whiff of freedom arrives.  Gone are the eerie lightning flashes.

Away, away caste segregation.
Ethnic violence turned out flim-flam.
Whet not uncultural, antisocial gloom.

Ephemeral is the celestial flash.
Soothing moonlit night pacifies.
Black melody curses the venom
Of the white garb.

Cajole the black sky to shower.
An independent Biafra for the Ibos.
Suffering Ibos.  No stoning, no death.
No uncivilized methods.

Freedom for all who suffer the heat.
Garble culture from savagery.
Emancipation for the feminine jewel, Blacks too should never wallow in mud.

Let their be a shower of democracy.  Equality.  Man is slave to none.
Religion, race, caste, gender and sects.
All chain us, beware!  weeny ideas mar our future.

STOP terrorism of any kind forthwith.

Amity = Peaceful Relations; Friendship

I learned a few things from reading your poem and looking up some terms. I like your title, as it seems to be what the poem is calling out for in protest to the suffering in the world. Lisa
