Evermore

waits the ghost of home
hot evening falling
and night chill
climbing the empty feilds
fallow to the east

the crystal lake
nacht

burning with its stars
like a shield dusted
in diamond

the one wish falling
for those watching
like a scratch of magic
ember

and its gone

Like the goodbye at the
end of the room
faintly heard

the latch clicking in place
and the wind moaning
in the attic and tickling
the eaves

shadows filling laughter
rooms and playing
on the stairs

the long hours are dragging
in
sifting like the sand in the
glass vein where gravity
pulls the single grain
like memories burying
memories

soon I will be a dune
and my love an artifact

and my spirit to haunt
the oasis
where the water
is sweet and precious

box of fears

whatever is buried there will always come back its the way of the parellel its in the blood and tracks the lightening eye will open in that static blink and the ego thinks the antebellum Id and all like echo in the faded hall the latch once seized is freed now they swift like rivers of wind sweep taking nightmares for fleets

schooling I managed just but I read lots of books later in life from 1984 till 2004 I find it hard to focus now to read but that may be returning the focus that is I loved travelling but was too afraid so I read about travllers especially the desert then met a woman who had travelled with the bedouins for a short time that made me realize the impact of first hand account over reading prepared material there a thousand stories waiting all about us Esker~
