My Imaginary Friend

I have an imaginary friend,
He is very close to me,
He is invisible to the outside world,
Only I can see.

He whispers to me softly,
Puts these ideas into my head,
Sometimes I think I should ignore him,
Because someone always ends up dead.

He always watches out for me,
Lets me know what I should do,
So make sure you do not cross me,
His next victim could be you.

A little accident with the lawnmower,
A plugged in hairdryer in your bath,
Yes you just do not know what could happen,
On the receiving end of my friend's wrath.

Sometimes he goes to far,
And i punish him to our room,
But usually I think he is right,
They did deserve this doom.

I have an imaginary friend,
His loyalty does not lack,
Fuck with me, and you will feel,
His revenge like a knife in the back.

Nice work Green eyes. Really love this poem Carrying your own battle scars is a sign of your own strength. Carrying others battle scars is a sign of your very soul.
