HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOTHER

This one's for you Mom, for all you are
Your love, my inspiration, my shining star
For on this special day of your's
There is no love so great, so pure

We have had our times, thick and thin
You've always taught me, never to give in
For this I'm so grateful for all that you are
You'll be forever my shining true star

Mother and daughter, best friends are we
There's no one who means more to me
As you turn 75 years old today
I thank you for everything in a special way

Forever beside you, I'll always be
All the things you taught, tis what's made me
Your heart as wide as the skies above
I write this poem with all my love

Mother and daughter, the best kind of friends
Forever together, never to end
Purest love from the heavens above
Mother and daughters, eternal love.

I told Mom what you said and I thank you. You know with diabetes and all she has lost her eyesight in one eye. The diabetes is the beast of diseases if you don't help yourself along its way. My bro got it now too and he is 52. I have to keep in check with my chocolate and sweet tooth..yikes..what would life be without chocolate, sounds like a good poem for you to tackle. Deep dark lovely chocolate. LOL that is you sweet one. Not named Hershey either.. I go get truffle now, I am sending you one catch it.. Love Mona TIME well spent is TIME well lived

Happy Birthday to your mum

75...`gosh` she's done well considering she has diabetes...nasty illness. I don't think eating chocolate will harm you...so keeping eating it if you love it. Five candles to add to her cake from me... iiiii. Brilliant thoughtful poem, just like you to love your mum so much, you have a lot of love in you to share. Super to have you back Mona. I know you'll have a busy few days here. I remember when I came back, after two days catching up; I was well and truly done in. Thank you for visiting this one and yes Mom is the soul of our life too as she is always there for us in good and bad times. I pray for more Mothers to take hold of their children and share things with them as they also need the love of a Mother and a Father, Sometimes it is not always possible so we may have another who is more of a Mother to us then our own Mother and that is good too, My son growing up without a father, trust me I know how it hurts him but I can only be his mother and share all I know and feel to him, with him, and for him.
