POEM TO ROSINA FROM ANN.

"Poem to Rosina"

A Scottish maid with long blond hair,

lives high above the town, her poetry her joy,

her little Zak, her living toy, 

her closest friend,

she weaves her tales from round about,

where life is hard, I have no doubt,

she is so caring, kind and wise,

you see it in her smiling eyes.

Once bogged down in misery,

she now sees light beyond the sky,

where inspiration lurks,

and with such pure compassion, for her fellow men,

she pens such words in hope of helping them,

from fear and trembling to find,

like her, a solace of some sort,

within her poems as they ought.

For there within each phrase, each word,

are gems of understanding,

and any drunk or swaying man,

can find a hand and holding tight, 

can ride her words and gain some second sight,

into her mind so sympathetic,

so finely written and thought out

as that's her plan.

And we her colleagues listen on,

and know that they are helped for sure,

we know they are, they ask for more.
