POEM TO JAYNE CHLOE FROM ANN

POEM TO JAYNE CHLOE FROM ANN

Jayne sits and sighs,

as palely, the sun seeps through the blinds

her plight, her daily battle, her sense of play

another way, she writes surreally,

such imagery, such strange events,

such magic moments caught,

in strings of poems she spreads about her,

growing fast in marches against time,

her words near touching the sublime,

we feel, we hear, we see,

through her soft eyes so deep,

into the land of poetry where no one ever sleeps,

where metaphor and simile are there at every door,

in her minds great big library,

while we just stand and stare,

and catch her smile in rhetoric,

across the miles and miles of clouds,

from lands afar we spy, the phoenix from our bowers,

each eve or morn she shines,

with colours from her palette,

so varied and so full of joys and sorrows,

that cover up tomorrows,

and sings their songs as loud,

as birds about the countryside around,

and they hear too in awe of her,

as onward she goes with pride,

the opera singer, cook and mother

with her hubby by her side.

Dear A., Wow! A

Dear A., Wow! A beautiful one, but I've come to expect that from you. This piece has a very calming quality to it. Across the miles and miles of clouds from lands afar we spy, the phoenix from our bowers so truly spoken. P.

Oh Ann no one could write a better tribute than that. I already love Seren, but if not I wouldn't have a choice. Natural nice flow and I like sublime over divine, lol. Great write read and tribute! Julie D.D.

Thank you all of you above.

Ann of Norway She did see it as I sent it to her immediately after I had posted it this morning, she is having a good rest and if you ask me she deserves it, as she is always there for all of us and untiringly comments on every one. We love to have her here and await her return eagerly. Yes I tried to weave in things relevant, it just came like that as the mind concentrated on her it gathered the information for me just outside the conscious, or that's what I think must happen, how clever is the mind, it is as if it were not me who did this, but some hidden power of this brain of ours appearing just like magic; but able to be explained. no doubt. by the chemicals and functioning of the human brain. We still do not know all there is to know about how the brain works do we? Fascinating thoughts. Love to you all from Ann on Friday having gone a long 3 hour walk we were positively exhausted, that's not ambling either we walk pretty fast and sometimes through snow drifts and deep tangled woods, preferring to make each forage into the wilds an adventure penetrating parts where no other human being has gone, only the moose and roe deer, squirrels and birds.

Write on, My Queen...

There is no one better suited or more fitting to write tribute to Janey, than my Queen, Ann of Norway. Regal, your words do fly through the ether to land on distant shores. Commanding one and all to recognise one of our greatest women warriors. With love, and honor,~ Sir Geezer
