BIG BLACK BEETLE

 BIG BLACK BEETLE

You big beautiful beetle

your gangling gait so slow

I watch you as you go

over the leaves and twigs

you know

my eyes intensely focussed on your

shining polished back,

so black,

the form of an upturned bowl

not camouflage but shield

and yet your fine protection

when tossed or turned around

leaves you helpless

upside down

a dainty dish for some

but in our eyes you shine

your legs so small

we sense them all

struggling to survive

in a world so great in size

you cannot fathom it,

or know what we do as you go,

from stone to stone

and hide.

Snow lady and beetles

Ann this is great and we have these black beetles too, sometimes we have the smaller ones they fly around a certain time of year. How is everything in Norway and the snow is gone and I can see that beautiful garden amongst the hills, You must send another picture of your magestic paintings, Perhaps the beetle could be in one of them. Thank you this was good, miss talking to you Love Mona xoxoxo Tell Erik hello and hope he is doing fine also. TIME well spent is TIME well lived

It’s when we notice the

It's when we notice the smallest of the small that things are put into perspective. I love the heart of a poet and painter. No hard shell. Thank you my sweet sister of the iridescent sky Love, Anna "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." ~ A Course In Miracles

Yes.

Ann of Norway You have a lovely turn of phrase for everything dear sister, and yes to you all who understood the simple little message of this black beetle, they catch the eye and fascinate, insects at all, as they have their own society, their own do's and don'ts, and we could learn from them of the simplicity of live and let live! No? YES! Love from the beetle gazer Ann.
