Unenvy

I read a poem today,
marked with ferruled righteousness,
preacher-envy one might think
...but I could see his nose-picking finger shaking at the world,
while digging sticky-brown-stained underwear
from home plate with the other.

I read a review earlier,
one declaring another's inabilities
...and I saw her pointing finger
diddling her own moistened clit

shaking fingers
smells that linger

I wrote these words a while ago,
and almost hit delete
... nah
fuck that @ anywhere.com

Funny...

the things people do when they think no one is looking. I see it all the time. When I used to be an auto-detailer, I used to find boogers on the side of the seat. I guess that people thought that no one would ever see them, if they put them there. But there they were, as soon as you opened the door! I think people that laugh at ostriches for sticking their heads in the sand, should take a lesson from them. Just because you don't see anyone looking, doesn't mean that no one sees. Great write and very insightful, Glad that you didn't delete it. Brought a smile to my face, and an awareness to my thoughts. ~ Gee

Gee...

My first job was as an attendant at a car wash, I learned about the booger drop back then... never could understand that one. We are all basically the same, we share the same wants and needs, it's just that some think they are somewhere above the rest of us, I feel it my duty to let em know they are not... poetry is my release. thank you for reading this crazy write

Yeah...

I figured that someone needed taking down a peg or two. Seems as though some people never learn, that should the circumstances of their fortunes change, they will still be the same person, just without money, or status in religion or society, whatever... just basicly the same animal machine as the rest of us. Craziness is a matter of perspective, ~ Gee

Hi Jayne...

glad it made you laugh, that means it worked... Tell Snake I said "yeehaw" (two beers and a glass of wine) not my usual lunch... Love that quote by Ingersoll

A consistant theme, though I find your last few writes notable better. It is however directly inspired. Yet universal in scope. in ink, Dabbler

David...

I can't always hit the mark ehhh, I thought this one was only ok but felt compelled to post it as it delivers a message, although crude and rude, but it is in my opinion that much of Life is rudely learned on the run... thanks for reading Dabbler

Perfect for all the perfect

Perfect for all the perfect reasons, I totlay loved the write, some try to push thier ideologys on others, while forgeting they are human themselves and in no position to preach to the choir. People don't have to see or meet their expectations. I will say this may irratate some people, but then the poem has done its job. In good form I might add! Thank GOODness, we are not @anywhere.com. hehehe. Great read Moonman Julie D.D.

great title.i like how

great title. i like how you've delivered your message... sharp, stinging, smart analogies. nothing wrong with thumbing the nose at those who would foist their idealogies and/or beliefs upon us...it's what should be done! cheers p.
