Down by the River side

Green liquid slow current flowingSunlight bright, falls silentlyOn the water below Banks of the riverLined by treesStirred by a Gentle breeze Endless days of summerGoes on and onAs does the river Just a sittingListening to nature’s Orchestra playAnother day away    Electric Blue

Mama passed away a few days ago.  So to the river I do go. For peace and tranquility memories stream by.

Down By The Riverside

Kal I am down by the riverside in the stillness but not in stillness. As the river flows gently a slight breeze blows. With the sun on my back wind in my hair Mama's gentle kiss touched my cheek soft as a summer breeze. Even though I am back at work I am on the mountain down by the riverside Thank you my friend for looking in on my poem Electric blue still a little blue

Down by the river side

Mona Imagery is natures creation I am honoured to be able to share by the contact of the trees the walks the stream just music to my heart my one companion always I drift away to the sounds of the breeze in the trees just wanting to flow along with the river long and winding on a wonderful journey. I am always there no matter where ever I am Thank you Magz

Maggie, sorry to hear of your loss, sometimes we feel closer to the ones we have lost surrounded by nature~ ___________________________________________________ Income-tax forms should be more realistic by allowing the taxpayer to list "Uncle Sam" as a dependent Anonymous

Dear Maggie

i liked this one and another you "Tree of Souls" a perfect title, with mine i find the title in my work often lets me down i think. i tend to use the first line of the piece, or just employ the well coined phrase "Untitled" a good title is a great hook, you reel them in with this. Then seduce them with your word constructs. "Down by the Riverside" has this aspect. Hope to hear from you soon dear one. love john x

Down by the river side

Dear John Did you see my comment at the end of this poem. Mama passed away and she was laid to rest in the family cemetry plot on the hill overlooking her house down in the valley it was a beautiful day - one of those days we always recall where we were and why. Later that day I got changed then walked through the woods down to the river it was just so peaceful just me day dreaming streaming. The titles just suited not planed just basic fact of where I was sitting on a fallen tree at the edge of the river a slight breeze blowing gently and the river with all the time in the world to get where it was going always flowing by. It is as if time stood still but all was still flowing along just timeless a moment captured in time always As for construction of words for me there is no planning I just do then read after it is done. My tears of the darkest blue ink fall as single letters that turn into words onto the paper that waits Electric blue - still a little blue

I walk besides

I walk besides the stream They call it the river Of no return. I walk aimlessly As the waters leave me Far behind As they merge with eternity And Seek of me To bide my time… Slowly, but with a stable gait I continue my walk Silently all alone As the water down Thames has flown Then When I reach the horizon My walk ceases Any motion, As I await To be pushed and submerged In the vast ocean…

Down by the Riverside

Hello my friend I just love water of all kinds the gentle stream a raging river the ocean calm or wild I loose myself in the ripples and waves and be submerged to the magic below where it is slightly blurred but calm gently I drift away. Electric Blue Maybe you might take a look at my Secluded Grotto and a few others

Down by the riverside

Lisa Thank you for looking in on my poem I find the river the place for my thoughts at this time mama laying in her pale blue coffin so hard but she laid there asleep so I will wait until she wakes and we will walk the fields again down in the valley and sit on the pourch looking out over the mountains that surround us.
