Life is gorgeous

I quiver alive

like a cat

a big one

at every opportunity

of life

knowledge or

more.

Sometimes I sit back on my haunches and lick my wounds

even sleep for an aeon or two

makes not much diff

there's still spliff

and women

and delirium of sorts

and always more

endless fun with teasing

religious mice

scurrying into their texts,

(some of which I wrote,

from pure malice)

there will always be me

or another pooka

to lead you astray

or you could go your own way

not sure what you mean

if it is pooka, instead of kooka, then it was certainly intentional, no slip there. Dubhain, one of my alter egos is a pooka. Seems I might be a bit clever. Cheers, Jess, Reprehensibly irrepressible

Don’t you feel the

Don't you feel the ironicness in the line you wrote, "some of which I write from pure malice" it may apply here Jess. Never known a religous mouse, and your implications aren't so sly. As you have already noticed. After just reading, "perfect crime" your moral balance is not impressing me. Witty, sarcastic, self amusing. Proper grammer and spelling. But not balanced. Now, Mr Weirdelf Jess what THIS IS NOT ABOUT "Calamine". Remember? So what do you have to say for yourself? I'm waiting. Make a poetry challenge then stand me up! Julie D.D. Mine is posted. 2 infact.

calamine totally slipped from my mind

some family issues came up I had to deal with, I think we've talked about them. You win, doubly! Both clever, well written and stand in their own right. You probably would have won anyway. About this one, yeah, it's not so great, slipped out in a moment, but "Perfect Crime" is one of my favourites Cheers, Jess, Reprehensibly irrepressible

There both have thier merits

There both have thier merits Jess, and flaws. I overall can appreaciate them. Just sick of all the button pushing around here lately. It could have been a spirtual mouse ya know. Or savy, or even something along the lines of a martyr mouse. But with the word choice... just bait. I still expect a write about Calamine by the way. As issues permit that is. Julie D.D.

Vita est iam

Once a sheep I strayed returning to my hedonistic origins the anology of mice is very relative, certainly anyone with eyes open can see that self titled denominations are expirementing with their marks Err flock/ congregation, to see just how thouroughly they can be fleeced.

Ha!

Excellent. Such unique word choice. I gobbled up this poem then read it slowly so as to absord it more. Keep on writing these gems for us! Jhena
