the caduceus of time ~ like gods unearthed and sentenced to die

It is raining
and the blossoms are spent
Eden?
I don't remember eating an apple
nor do I remember a voice

you sleep
we dream
with our serpent bodies
entwined
healing the part of us
adrift

arrows to Eros
cosmic eggs hatching
untamed wings

life is a poem
we breathe,
the gift of fire
crawling
with humanity

Haha! Even I am prone to misspellings and misstatements. Who woulda thunk? ~A "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." ~ A Course In Miracles

Smiling.The last few lines

Smiling. The last few lines of an old poem of mine. "I wonder if this time a Poet Saves The World, I wonder if one of us could teach the world the word: Namaste “I honour that place in you where the whole Universe resides, And when I am in that place in me and you are in that place in you, There is only one of us.” I wonder if I am still dreaming." I bid you welcome, Adam. ~A "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." ~ A Course In Miracles

"There is only one of us" in your comment.

Ann of Norway How those who have understood that state understand, only those who can give up themselves and find themselves again. This poem makes me shudder a little moment as it leaves me seeing writhing snakes- crawling with humanity, they are the insects of the globe as seen from the spaces out in the heavens where dwell the gods themselves. Looking at that cosmic egg from "on high"! Love from your mad sister Ann.
