Sailing
Jonah invented the whaleThe first man ever to sailHe went round the globeIn his best Sunday robeHis invention was destined to fail For Noah had plans for an arkIt’s construction no walk in the parkIt took a few yearsSome blood sweat and tearsBut finally Noah made his mark His wife tried most every ruseTo convince him to go for a cruiseHe said, “I’ve been toldTo fill up the holdWith gerbils and bush kangaroos” They brought on the creatures in pairsThe rhinos and hippos downstairsBut space was so tightSome put up a fightEspecially the grizzly bears When the rains came the ark was a floatAnd Noah, on the bridge he did gloatSaying “didn’t I say?It would happen one day”Said his wife “I could rip out his throat, This is not what most folk call cruisingWith gorillas and lemmings and ewes inMy cabin at nightIt just isn’t rightI don’t find it very amusing” So Noah’s wife concocted a plotTo scupper her hubbys new yachtWith her turn at the wheelHer nerves she did steel
And crashed into Mount Ararot
