pan

we stand
working the utensils
the eggs
broken and mixed

we shopped
our minds similar
the buggy pushed
from lane to lane

random
we are fun

Father/daughter
together

and not divided by
belief nor
indifference

smiles as we
unload the things
of sustenance

Like the love
we share to another
Parent to Child

happy with our
purchases

both dressed in black
with our long hair

I enjoy father child

I enjoy father child relationships to sit back and watch. A father is very important and this is a lovely poem of your time together. Thank you for sharing a moment. raskin

I had a strong relationship with my father

and this touched those feelings. He did not cook but washed the dishes, which was our time to review spelling, multiplication tables, etc. talk and tell jokes. The metaphors here are so simple and strong. My favorite lines are these: and not divided by/belief nor/indifference. I don't know why you changed your identity but am glad you're still here.

A wonderful visit from my daughter I had been in her life from birth to four years then I was on the road but we are close again watching movies talking going for walks she is an artist like myself and to see us shopping with the same search patterning is amazing she is beautiful and amazing!
