A Sea of Suds
We stand around,
Audience to the inanimate,
Too timid to approach the iridescent clouds.
A brazen raven flies,
Becoming enveloped
in a sea of virgin white,
As momentary solitude erupts,
Before being broken......
The audience takes wing,
Multicolored feathers fly
Bursting the pristine dream,
Diminishing it with their prescence,
Corrupting the corners of childhood innocence,
Opening my eyes
to the understanding of why
God guards the gates of Heaven
so closely.
Audience to the inanimate,
Too timid to approach the iridescent clouds.
A brazen raven flies,
Becoming enveloped
in a sea of virgin white,
As momentary solitude erupts,
Before being broken......
The audience takes wing,
Multicolored feathers fly
Bursting the pristine dream,
Diminishing it with their prescence,
Corrupting the corners of childhood innocence,
Opening my eyes
to the understanding of why
God guards the gates of Heaven
so closely.
