WILD

Tame me not for i am more
than passive urges, dwelling
within the search seemingly
as angry as a tame lion giving
birth .

When all that was thought
deserts me open and raw
ready to pounce claiming
new territory , wanting not
to view life from the conservatory.
of witness where the wilderness
is a blissful haven , sown and
pruned grown consumed .

At home with my sense's without
which i am defenseless , eternally
seeking tomorrow allow me to
without sorrow .

Dear Z., I love your style. The way you write it seems like it just wells up in you and then just rushes out. This is a lovely work, but it seemed a bit hurried to me. I could be wrong. P.

Nice one Ziggie.

`as angry as a tame lion giving birth`. I love this line, as it reminds me of the series `The Lion Man`, which I love and have watched ten times over. When his tame lions give birth, they sound so different, more human-like noises, than wild lions...I watch wild life programs too, so I've heard the differences. Rosina xena465

Dear Ziggy

Wow! What an aggressive write! I Love it. Proud and without fear. My favorite lines: When all that was thought deserts me open and raw ready to pounce claiming new territory , wanting not to view life from the conservatory. of witness where the wilderness is a blissful haven , sown and pruned grown consumed . Always, Cat

WILD!

Zigs, I have read this one a few times through and each read gives off a little more anger in your voice. You are not known for outbursts like this, but you clearly have it deep inside of you. It truly is a wild posting and with other pieces like White Collared, you are gaining a voice not to be reasoned with, which I love. The final stanza is utterly brilliant. The man has a voice and it wants to be heard! It really has been a pleasure watching you grow in words. I like the tone of this one taking measure ... without sorrow love and hugs JayCee x x x Quote:- It is a thousand times better to have common sense without education than to have education without common sense.---Robert Green Ingersoll

Dear Enda

While I was reading, an image of a Knight, hand across chest and head high, came to mind. This is brilliant and should be spoken. An observational write but with a powerful choice of words. Really wonderful. Love all. XX

Dear friend

Sorry I have not caught up before today. This is brilliant and as far as the Knight, it could be you if you wish, lol. Read this poem back to yourself and hear the strength it speaks. This is not just words. It is quite a matter of fact and written to be voiced and heard. I also have read this a couple of times and I still have the same opinion. Loved every word. Bravo, A+ and no I have not spoken any poetry but I think you should, slow but strong would hit the spot. You are rockin. XX
