Tourniquet Chorus

I watch it leave cell by minuscule cell
Sapping my will to belong
Medic wont you give that girl a tourniquet

Ebbing and flowing, lack of coagulation
Sapping my will to belong
Medic wont you give that girl a tourniquet

Seepage of resolve, of stamina
Sapping my will to belong
Medic wont you give that girl a tourniquet

Medic wont you buy that girl a round

I miss the play

Tourniquet is clear in context but what is tournique? (I tried google translate to no avail) Cheers, Jess, Reprehensibly irrepressible

hi

A Tourniquet is what doctors use to stem a blood flow. Lou

hi

It's a play on words, a Tournique is a piece of medical equipment the stems the blood flow. I'm glad you like the poem. Lou
