Starred Blackness
Silent in beauty
A sunrise burning dawn
with the path of it's rising
moving gently passing on
This lovely Starred blackness
that has meant much to me
a changing dreams
this love far from me
I sit in the warmness
this cool whisping wind
seeing blue depths of water
fight with feelings within
these beautiful waters
that were travelled along
have been blown by the wind
like a bird without song
touched these miles
of soft sanded shores
loveless encounters
though some I adored
Sunrise yes Sunset
are mixed into one
as a life prolonged
that has never begun
a strength starred blackness
is felt deep inside
while a bright burning Sun
finds these places I hide
I care for it's beauty
the love that it brings
Springtime romances
songs that each sing
but dark patterned movement
the quiet of nights
are my simplest pleasures
to them I'll hold tight
without the starred blackness
I'd never survive
to enjoy waited moments
while I'm here still alive.
A sunrise burning dawn
with the path of it's rising
moving gently passing on
This lovely Starred blackness
that has meant much to me
a changing dreams
this love far from me
