rainy morn


birds are singing in the grey
the damp underlining this world today
I felt like this when you were away

never knowing how I leaned into your words
read your lines
and caught comfort

so now Im awake
ready for the hours

passing all that is
akwardly feeling my heart
with every small rut
and bump

like life
