S

Battle

standing on the field

fear held deep inside

gripping to my shield

hope i don't get peeled

no where to hide

standing in the field

never gonna yield

along for the ride

gripping to my shield

lucky to be heeled

gash to my side

standing on the field

hurt so i kneeled

a deep breath, then sighed

gripping to my shield

the world reeled

i think i just died

standing on the field

gripping to my shield

I hope you just bent down to do your laces up, just think that the last Stanza could be arranged to follow the flow you had with shield and field otherwise a neat little piece, Yours Ian.T
