cherry blossoms

In the cherry flower
time blossoms in a cloud
the moment we agree to live
the moment we look away it passes
in the grey fabric of the sky
where our eyes hide from the rain
the music our fingers have played
at night near the forgotten winter

now we are brief eagles
the sky has shunned
fallen into the earth's cradle
belonging to one flower
our lips remember
and our tangling roots emerge
to call back the sun
and release the falling petals

Sakura, Sakura.

Ann of Norway The blossom is out in Japan filling the sky with palest pink like the crinoline dress of the princesses in fairy tales, the beautiful gray colour in the clouds makes such a wonderful contrast doesn't it, and you toss us from the earth into the sky as we find our bed covered in the softest petals and pillowed with clouds, sensuously tinted with thoughts of union, I enjoyed the Spring breeze of your words Barry, and then the explosion of the falling petals ends it all in a skin-like carpet of softness. Love to you (pl) Ann smiles in the sunshine you summoned.

Love, my love. Isn’t

Love, my love. Isn't Maytime in April wondrous? ~A "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." ~ A Course In Miracles
