Spin

from
my secret drawers
the pictures of you
come escaping
alive
from their
sarchophagi

green smoke
fills my rooms of living

blind fog
in the corners of
my soul

should keep and hide you
into the circular
eternity
where you as a
perpetuum mobile
spin
around yourself

but my heart
has woven  such strong ties
fixed shackles

to
the past

I've been looking forward to reading another poem of yours,

partly, I must admit, because I love your username. forgive me but this feels a bit disempowering, like a house-wife. If that is your choice, OK. On a constructive level spelling fifteen would work better and give you more imagery to play with, respectfully, Jess, Reprehensibly irrepressible

some ties are impossible to

some ties are impossible to cut. Maybe it's good for that is a thing that shape us into who we are and what we will become. But I think we should be careful not to let bitterness get us. At the end when we get to see the whole picture then we will probably understand the meaning of what happened. that's what I think. Thank You so much Cat ( lovely fairyqueen) for visitng my page and for reading my poetry. love. o molly

Oh do spin me widdershinly...

Molly this is a tight controlled piece of writing that is full of envigored emotion that leaps out at you and builds like a crescendo... like violins, chellos and double basses all being pitched high in sequence! At first you open the draws and the pictures come alive with memory, taking you on a journey and opening the door for those of the past who can no longer fill the room with physical presence but are always bouyant and full of espirit in our active minds... perhaps the mist consumes your soul in thought and spellbinds your essence and aura to the room in a breathy wind that turns that hanging mobile in to a twirling tornado of thought that swirls sentimentally. The nostalgia of such will always lay heavy upon your heart for someone like this... but remembering them is how any and all us keep them alive eternally. I love the wording and whole premise of the poem Molly... Dale :)

to remember is an incredibly

to remember is an incredibly clever invention .. I am not religious in the ordinary sense but I strongly believe that we have been given our own free will so everything is about what we do with the talents and gifts we received. Everything in life is not easy and sorrow come to us sooner or later, sometimes sad and unbroken ties to a lost love can be a thing of beauty. and I think we are all united to the rich infinity somehow.. as always and always Dale .. I love your comments thank you so much for reading my poetry the way you do. love. o molly

Molly...

Right then Molly... That mean you have a similar view of the world and religion as me! I don't believe in things in the ordinary sense either... emotions tie us to this world, without sorrow how could you know what joy is? And vice versa, the testing times are there to make us realise how good the better times are, it is also what pushes us to improve. Your words are full of infinate wisdom... shared from the immortal soul, and in memory of thought of which you imprint on others. You have always placed a peace basket at my feet mooly and we shared many picnic of thought in these poems of yours... because they how your sentiments so well :) Dale :)
