 Just tell me now
that this is the end
don't let it linger
please be my friend

don't tell me lies 
or cover the truth
let daylight discover
eyes show me proof

with words of our ending
my life lingers past
in new endless meaning
without love I will last

changes of many
will  truly I see
for my soul within
shall never be free

I do what I ask
to show myself true
for others that seek me
but over them I rule

because of this heartless 
way that I live
I seek always forgiveness
this little I give

this life has forgotten 
my heart once was soft
showing little emotion
now like hay in a loft

still I do conquer
 this way that I am
because I stand freely
not a sheep but the Ram

defeat not a word
but a place in a land
that is travelled by many
slowly crushed by this hand

a pen is a weapon
but can be someone's friend
if ever it is needed
