Where justice hides..
Where justice hides…
Lawyers keep on strutting their stuff,
the clerks continue being old and gruff,
Judges keep sniffing their snuff.
and the commoner struggles to be heard.
The dock is icy cold and not to cheery,
while the MPs are indifferently beery.
Honest men look decidedly weary,
Justice is the fool dropping it’s guard,
The baron he looks on this, so amusing,
the poorest are now in the dock losing.
Money they take leaves them cruising,
who can dispense a sentence so cruel.
Deliver me from the modern day tyrant,
and a warranting policeman’s amusement.
Distilling justice so bad, with such intent,
could the gallows be worse than the gruel.
Where did social justice lose it’s way,
can we stand by and watch our own suffer.
Is greed the ruling monarch of our day,
and all around the divided spoils of Lucifer.
Help us escape the clutch of fools,
Why do honest men stand silent.
Cross the Divide claiming new rules,
or step up with acts more violent.
