Awakened One

My illusionmelts away like waxrevealing a deep inner core –a dark reality to whichI must awaken Too longand obliviously toohave I suckled the nipples of illusionOnce I have fortified myself Iwill replace my vulnerabilitywith Impregnability I shall be rooted in the knowledge:no matter which crack or crannythe truth may creep in fromor whatever that truth may beI shall be in a state of readinessof the awakened one, whoafter having plumbedthe length, the breath and  the depthof consciousnessdisturbed wisdomfrom its dogmatic slumber Then,I shall neither  be beguiledby the lure of happinessnor shatteredby the onslaught of sorrow I shall neither  be elevatedon a wave of recognition norobliteratedby the shadow of oblivionI shall neither  cursemy ill fate norpraise my luck I shall neither  livein the life of a shadownor die in the shadow of life
