the sun is setting on a perfect day

Wrapped in the question mark that is you,
i suppose i should learn some new contortions
to speak
but today we listened to the wind
serenading the pine
and we were not alone

you were not this and i that.
for we remembered why the sky is blue
and how the vulture sees
and the ledges we climbed were filled with
the scent of earth;
you adorned my hair with leaves,
and we were covered with the moss
of some unknown history,
but like answers
that can only come in the silence of awe,
in the way
of things that question not....
we knew
the way home....

we are love's creation.

Very beautiful.I love, how

Very beautiful. I love, how in that first stanza, you conjure an image of how he is sitting, his posture, in thought, and how you are wrapped in him, because you are part of his mind, his memory. It is he and the memory or thought of you, that listen, and yet you are the voice of his ideation. Love the ride through the 'sky', 'blue', 'vulture', touching down to 'earth', 'leaves', 'moss' - which parallels and expands upon the wind/pine of the first stanza. This is a piece of sorcery. :)

Timeless love that contains all knowing.

Ann of Norway "the scent of earth, you adorned my hair with leaves,".......oh this reminds me of my friends marriage in a reg, office but they enacted some beautiful rituals of their own creating, with a wooden circle in which they both stood as they got married, they stepped in and raised the circle slowly reciting their own created poem to each other as it rose up.... I don't remember all the details but there were flowered garlands in their hair and around the circle; while the registrar looked on patiently waiting for the ceremonies to abate to finalise the marriage legally. One of my haïku-like poems:- Shrubs on the hidden path throw pollen on the marriage I hear music or is it just the song of the nightingale ? Love to you (pl) dearest Anna.

Thank you all for reading;

Thank you all for reading; may each and every one of us find that connection to nature and love... that makes life worth living. That IS life. Blessings to all, Anna "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." ~ A Course In Miracles
