AWWWW!!!!!

This is a wonderful poem!!!! It lifted my spirit! I love the lines "I LOVE YOU very much I live for your touch this is the first of many years let laughter drown out the tears" The thought of having laughter grown out the tears is a great thought! ~Rain~

Thanks Rain

TOO bad it only lasted a few years. It was an online romance. Though we had met in person once. She was a poet too. Her pen name was rainyblue. I won't use her full pen name. Take Care and keep smiling. huey

Thanks Pamala

not all of the poem flow so well. I changed one line before posting. Otherwise it is like I origanal wrote. I would just write off the cuff and very seldom polish them. I lost some words when I cut and pasted it here. I need to clean it up some. But now I need to get some more seeds planted before it rains tonight. Thanks again and Take Care. huey

Thanks DarknLovely

I had never thought of this one as a spoken word one. I've have always wabted my "Shadows of a Lady" spoken and set to music> I will post it when I find it. But you don't want me to SING or even recite my poem. Friends tell me I should sing tener, solo. Tener or twelve miles down the road. Solo no one can hear. I'm posting another old poem today. Thanks again and Take Care. huey

Hey, Huey....

...this was well-written, even with the spelling errors. Lol ! Seriously, this is truly romantic and heartfelt. If you sing it, I will take my comment back. "Write on"! sincerely, #{:-{)}8==== docmaverick.
