Lady Fair
The lady, fair.
~
Should allow each man, a leave to look
to experience first hand, and by the book
why it is
that they should care;
sweet love's lady, fair.
~
Does try to stimulate the mind, and heart,
born within, passion and intellect start
and when taken to extremes,
one must beware;
audacity's lady, fair.
~
Her nuances trickle on through time,
but, vision is obscured with gravity's grime,
yet her coercive nudgings
spend like something rare;
my only lady, fair.
~
She cannot guarantee safe passage home,
it'd be easier to predict the ocean's foam,
or ignore
the summer's right to celebrate glare;
cruel lady, fair.
~
Upon a steed she journeys through the night,
taking hostages, and casualties just isn't right
and, much the same as hope
the fabrics tear;
blind lady, fair.
~
The reason for her antics isn't clear
there's a dirt nap, for those who chose to fear,
so brave the night away,
if you dare;
fate's lady, fair.
