ON THE BORDERLINE

Pomegranite tingednewly needled scars.Picking up strangers, stalking men in bars. The emotional bleederscratching at scabs. The walking annorexicforever fighting the invisible flab. Warding off emptinessannexing the pain, shattering the mirror -to create a new reflection again. Borderline patients, the malady of our Time, spurned by their mothers.Invalids of their own mind.Forever seeking validationas if being loved were a crime...." BjR  31 March, '10

Hi JayCee!

I have indeed been acquainted with the night! I have a sister who is Borderline and I think that's what got me into pursuing psychology! I think educating people is vital! Thanks for your interest! lol Boni

It's confusing I know

but there is very much an element of their denigrating themselves and invalidating their own beliefs/mind!

Great read Boni

Begs the question though what is construed as love... One persons concept may not be anothers and when that difference is realised there can be much hurt attached to love. Yes a two edged sword, cuts either way. Seabhac

Pomegranite tinged newly

Pomegranite tinged newly needled scars. Picking up strangers, forever stalking men in bars.(Good stuff!) The emotional bleeder pathetically picking at scabs.('pathetically' is good, but I think it's superfluous,-scabs have similar characteristics) The walking annorexic forever fighting invisible flab.(These last two I'm seriously envious of) Juicy, savoury lines here. The way it should be. Yours, Espen.

THanks Espen

Not very well thought through at the time... I think I was driving a car if I remember, so I appreciate the fine tuning. Glad you liked it though. Check out my follow up one on "Addiction" that I will be posting sometime soon. Same profile, but with a more scientific backdrop ;) Appreciated your time! Boni

It’s the ‘emotional

It's the 'emotional bleeder' that 'pathetically picks', not the scabs. Apologies, I misread. I guess I've nothing to pick at here. A fresh piece of work, so tune carefully. I'll take a look at 'Addiction' when I can. Yours, Espen.

THanks Espen!

I think I prefer the alliteration of 'scratching at scabs' since I've already used "picking" in the first stanza! Thanks for your input though! Much appreciated! Boni
