Cousins

Moments without words, longing greatly for lost time
Unsure of guilt, still taking on that which is not mine
Severed ties of blood absent of their past
Manic realms of sorrow finding ways to last
Picture perfect nonsense washing up demented
Taunting wreck less tongues into the lamented
Hopeless shields of disarray battling for breath
Knowing well its ill despair endearing it to death
Prosecuting the unaccountable simply will not do
Guilty debts unpaid, delayed is mostly just untrue
Spawn they will like spores of mold
Telling the lies they have always told
Who watches the beasts of burden as they make their nests
Weaving their webs, digging their holes doing their level best
Perpetuating cycles of abuse that appear as never ending
Finding grace in secrets feared as laws are ever bending
Its quiet now, somewhere in between who knows and I don't care
Picking up the pieces, finding a way, through lives of disrepair

I think,

i like and understand what your writing here. We all have to struggle on manfully against laws, that seem to change to suit others. And we just get left behind the retoric. I like your style anyway, so correct me if i'm wrong Regards Roscoe..
