spectacular acts

the wind whips
the night to frenzy
my mind finds
a gentle peace
in its anger

I am eye to eye
with natures beast
she will win,
but I feel not fear

energized in the
height of her howls,
vibrating with the
strength of her breath

a fence post flies
to the shop
as the night
turns into chaos

and I have front row seats
to the biggest show on earth,
as I watch the creation of awe

I felt fear and calm at the same time

Lately we have been having

Lately we have been having some good wind here in Utah, and all I can say is it would be great if it didn't blow off my hat, as I walk down the street jamming to my music.
