i am

I Am being.

Oblivious grace, eternal serenity,

awareness ebbed,

languidly infused,

undisturbed, ubiquitous.

A seed of need stirs.

Restlessness, a fidget

fluttering the fabric

irradiating a candle far away

now to be forever perceived.

Rippling breeze gently brushes substance -

a gasp,

a yawn

takes space from me,

within a knowing is allowed.

I remember.

A spark of awareness -

I own boredom.

i am manifest

About This Poem

About the Author

Region, Country: Western Australia, AUS

Favorite Poets: Favourite poets? So many, so varied. I like particular songs, not necessarily the singer... and the same goes for poetry. I can honestly say though, that Alfred Noyes' The Highwayman was what inspired my love of poetry - my mother began reading it to me when I was still a baby, and it became my favourite bedtime story

I love this Judy. I often

I love this Judy. I often feel restless about many things and it can manifest, so much so that I retreat into myself. But thankfully, with help, I can bring about some light into the darkness that can engulf me. Rosina xena465

nice to meet you edwin

thank you for visiting and for your insightful comment i love your take on it, as i was writing i was into the thought of being becoming manifest, and how it is only need, boredom or discomfort which makes us ‘do’. Meditation, sleep, and even birth (thus the candle lit in the distance,) fit the thought troy had it though - let there be light lol judy
