Love,
Oh! Sweetest friends

 

Is the only battlefield

Where even Generals

Would surely love to lose


What’s the fun in winning?

From someone
you so intensely love?

 

Since as you lose

You still do win

But if you win

You're bound to lose.

 

So beautiful friends of mine

When you have a battle with divine

Chose between either love or win

Either way you’ll lose
that alone will prove

To be your solitary sin

Hi

Bit of a sensitive subject for me just now but there is no win or loose in love there is existance and waves of both. Love is a belief and if you believe you will loose then that will be the case.There is free choice and the thin line between love and hate is often crossed. What your poem and maybe your present emotional state is missing is hope ...when all else is lost there is hope. This is still a good poem A suggestion for a word in the line May like ( choose) to lose It gives the ideal of choice Seabhac
