A PEACE AGREEMENT

 

Tolerance for the beliefs of others
Will there ever be peace in this world
Oh Israel, we are here for you
Will a truce release all her religious freedoms

America said it correctly, in her speech today
Israel beside us, as she speaks her way
Living in peace with all our neighbors
When will man come to his sense of worth

To not support terror, to end senseless wars
Reckon out and reach for courage
Giveth generosity, unwavering peace to all
Help our world who hungers for this

We share each others sorrow
End a losing battle of terrored violence
In saving lives, ours and their's
From fighting against fanatic enemies

The hatred of western civilization
Shall not overcome the enemy
War can not be won alone or together
Longing for peace, Oh Israel, Oh America

Our civilization as we gather here today
Believing in the common ideals
Standing together, two nations
One purpose for peace in the world
For all...

I assume this ones about a speech from your president or someone else high up I havent seen the news etc today so I am flying blind here but I have to say you have tightened your formats up with your writes still would bring the stanza'z closer together but I am nit picking lol perfectionist virgo me lol and I agree peace isnt a dream its something everyone has to work towards ... in their private lives and publicly Love Jayne-Chloe

Did you see her speech today on, it was great and I want to tell you I love when you grace me page this late at night lovely friend. Thank you Seren I was watching Hillary and others on Cspan2 tonite and it was alot about what is going on in the world over in Israel and all. You know my boy talks about going in the Marines and as much as I am proud of all servicemen ours especially I got that twinge in my gut when he talks of it and of course I know there are family members on both your side and mine that we pray for. It is or seems we are heading for worst disasters as the years go on. I am not a pessimist but an optimist and the only thing I can do is pray like many others. I can hardly watch the stuff anymore on tv its terrible and to think our young ones may have to go there or anywhere in conflict grounds is unspeakable for me right at the moment. Thank u for the stars but mostly your comment means more. If my son really wants to do this then there is nothing I really can say as I will support him fully but die a young mother of worry perhaps. I must and we must always keep the faith, if you don't mind me Jayne to say that honey. Off to bed with a bump on my head and sweet dreams Love Mona

Frustrated?

Many beautiful thoughts here Mona, but a little hard to follow -- I feel like I missed the first chapter, LOL! I do share your frustration! It's interesting that while the majority of people around the world want nothing more than to live their lives in peace, make a living and make a better place for their children, their desires are always thwarted by that vicious minority that wants to force everyone to conform to THEM. That's human nature I guess and as much as we may pray for peace, it is because of this lunatic fringe that we have never seen it and never will. When it comes to humanity I am (obviously) very much the pessimist.

Yes this was in after a speech(s) I was listening to on CSPAN 2 last night about Israel and our ties with them. I do not want to make too many political statements in here as retaliation will arouse again. I speak for my country and also of Israel and many other countries World Peace, I know what you mean by never to see it but I try to hold on to the vision that was set before me before my time. Thank you for at least visiting my page and your opinion and/or viewpoints very well accepted and hold no animosity towards any ones viewpoints as we all have them. Eph is one hell of a guy you know it and we all know it, He is a writer for sure and a lover of woman. Lol we can't even share him because where I come from when you find a GOOD man you got to hang on to him. And speaking of cabbage and corn beef, strikes me a good one. Loved here is a message to you gal

First I want to thank you so much for commenting on this poem. I did not want to go with a political poem and offend anyone but as I was writing it I knew it was something I wanted to say.. Second Loved please know that you are a poet and you are growing. Do not feel let down at all, as you get many a comment on your works. Visit some people on the lonely list and comment on their works and always make new friends wherever you go in here or in life itself. Feel worthy of you for you are a worthy person and in longing for the love and attention you may not have in your life now, make it happen and practice, practice and read and write alot. Please do not offend your own self with saying a non poet like me for you are only feeding your self with it and know that you are a poet. You say you have alot of poetry work on it, share it and let it flow. Someday you may be publish a book of your own, think good thoughts about it and don't worry about others knocking you down, just pick up your feet, knock off the dust and go at it again. This is a workshop and to learn and share with other poets. All this other stuff is not to be taking serious to heart as if it was you would not be able to walk on your own two feet, I know you have it in you Loved so go out and shout it out and know we all love you here. Be patient, work with people who are helping you, listen to them for the most part and dump out the stuff you do not care for. It is only your life in which you take control and your poetry so go out and kick some goalies.. Love you honey..Stay sweet as always, Your a lovely gal. Take what you will or shall from my comment and ditch it or think on it as you so wish. That is your perogative. I am just that always try to stay with the positive stuff as I help many people and friends around me, I have always been this way and some think it is fake, but how can you be fake when all you do is real and from the heart and mind. I have many people seek me out just for this same reason for when I see something or dont see something positive in someone I shed the light for them and only pray they recieve it. I have did alot of work with different age groups young and old alike and they always come back to me for more. i wish the world all over reads this.!

its good i did not miss out on this one great piece. thank for showing what i call a universal concern. only a true mother would write this poem for peace. i will always say good women are from GOD, PROVERBS 19Verse 14, mother are God gift to then world. if all leaders and politicians are women alone, this world would not be like it is today, they have good hearts. that is why am not suprised you could write for the peace of mankind. chumfin
