Mirage
Her eyes
so shined with beauty
as heaven's moonlit touch
brought back
this girl her memories
I once had loved so much
My body felt
felt Her presence
from this mind an image came
a figure glowing lithely
I stared with body game
She floated as a sunrise
fulfilling my minds reach
I felt as if a statue
Washed to sandy beach
countless changing sunsets
remind me of my past
not bright or soft as sunrise
bringing hopes or would they last
:To feel the breeze of spring-time
smell Summer's sweetened grass
hear Autumn's whirling rustle
Leaves that have been cast
I fall not by the wayside
yet to see what winter brings
I know it's filled with beauty
even though
the birds don't sing
to see what one imagines
is not what they may greet
as Winters
Blinding whiteness
gives mirages as a treat.
so shined with beauty
as heaven's moonlit touch
brought back
this girl her memories
I once had loved so much
My body felt
felt Her presence
from this mind an image came
a figure glowing lithely
I stared with body game
She floated as a sunrise
fulfilling my minds reach
I felt as if a statue
Washed to sandy beach
countless changing sunsets
remind me of my past
not bright or soft as sunrise
bringing hopes or would they last
:To feel the breeze of spring-time
smell Summer's sweetened grass
hear Autumn's whirling rustle
Leaves that have been cast
I fall not by the wayside
yet to see what winter brings
I know it's filled with beauty
even though

to see what one imagines
is not what they may greet
as Winters
Blinding whiteness
gives mirages as a treat.
