The Journey's Worth
The open road lies ahead,
No destination set,
Only a path,
I walk unblocked,
Relishing in the world,
The ever changing sky,
The constant changing lands,
Of earth, sky, water and trees,
A wanderer who treasures these,
Is the most free of all,
Because after all what good is place,
Without a journey,
A journey without peril,
Without toil and effort,
And without issue,
That is not a journey,
A true traveller lives through it all,
And takes the wins and defeats,
And will continue on,
And prove the journeys' worth.
