Mirror

The encompassed frame of the mirror
Imprisoned the image of horror,
Inescapable, the horror yelled:
'Why do you make me so ugly?"
Fatidical images spoke haughtily.
The ugly shape in the mirror slowly changed,
Introspection began to replace the image.
A charming reflection.  All eyes glued
The mirror began to get perplexed,
For too many images make shattered
And imprisoned.  Smiles, distortions,
Contortions.  Ugly versus handsome!
The children played handy-dandy
A guess game of the silly type.

Mirrors always conceal the real,
The real has unreal reflection.
Cosmetics, false teeth, dyed hair,
Change the air.  The real is crude.
Horrendous is camouflaged.
"Nature is a reflection, an image,
Truth also has false images."

That day people begn to throw stones
And break the mirrors.
